From the Award Winning Studio Crescent Moon Games and Glenn Corpes, one of the creators of the original Populous series of games, comes TOPIA WORLD BUILDER, a unique world building sim, tailored for iOS devices.Topia World Builder is a world creation simulation. You become god and shape the land as you choose, by the use of touch controls. Swipe your finger to create mountains, valleys, rivers, and oceans. Watch trees grow, spawn thousands of animals - and watch them live and die on the planet of your creation!Features:-Create Mountains-Create Valleys-Create Rivers-Create Oceans-Spawn various animal types-Build enormous herds of animals-Watch predators attack other animals-Save your worlds so you can edit them later-Change the color of land, water, sky-Play in both landscape and portrait modes. Crimson God 22, Game needs to be realisticThis game concept is truly amazing!!! The trees need to be self spawning so the creatures that depend on them don't die out.
Also the the creatures in the game should all be interconnected by the food chain and the wolf like carnivores should have a pack mentality so it is more realistic. Also the carnivores need to be less aggressive so they don't kill off all their food, and the herbivores should not beable to kill predators they should run.
Also if you happen to put in humans I think they should be like caveman, live in tribes up in the mountains and they come down to hunt and can hunt basically anything they run into. Also the birth rate of humans should be significantly slower but they should be stronger and more resilient. Also if you decide to put in natural disasters like tsunamis or plague that would be cool. The plague could originate from bacteria which is essential to life and is something you have to place In order to have any life on your planet. ( of course the plague ratio would be slim and not common but possible, and would be spread when animals came in contact and there could be certain plagues that certain animals are immune too, predators would most likely be immune so as to kill the sick. I love the game and hope you take these ideas for the most part and incorporate it into the game.
Hsnncndjsidkdnnz, potentialgreat game, crazy potential, needs updates. Here are my suggestions that would really help this game. Some bs, Very very good sandbox game, butLove the game, all around awesome but a few things that bother me is there is no food chain for the birds they don't even eat the fish the crocs never die so they become way over populated in one area and don't roam the world.
Also I wish I was able to make a stable world that has both predators and herbivores it seems like the predators either become way to massive or the herbivore herds become so big that all the carnivores just die eventually. I can't wait to see what they will do with humans just hope it doesn't take forever for them to release, but over all awesome sandbox all around worth getting, O and the trees don't regenerate like the grass so the one herbivore that feeds off trees just die out and never really get huge herds.
Birds also eat the trees making it even more hard to keep poips out. I think if they added a designated breeding ground zone for both herbivores and carnivores that kept the opposite out it would make a more stable environment but they would have to make it very small or make the world a bit larger also they would have to make it that the few carnivores that stay at the breeding ground to reproduce don't have to kill to do so and won't starve from not being able to hunt in that short time like they usually do.
Idk just an idea but good game great potential.
Let your imagination loose in this sandbox world.
Reviewing a sandbox game is always a tricky endeavor. First, you have to abandon the usual yardsticks of game evaluation: its length, its challenge, and the satisfying nature of its objectives. Secondly, your enjoyment of Topia World Builder will come down to a very subjective evaluation that reflects how much you're prepared to give to it, rather than take away.
Fortunately, the game has one thing in common with the guilty pleasures we all secretly harbor about videogames: it looks bloody fantastic. Greens, blues and purples blend together as you create sky-high mountain ranges, while more peaceful valleys and sandbanks can be carved into the ground. You will unashamedly tease and rotate at the planet to take in your masterful handiwork.
You do all this with some very accomplished controls. Finger swipes rotate the planet, pinch-zooms bring you nearer to or further from the planet, and there's a series of icons that allow you to shape what's happening on the ground with precision.
With one tool you can raise a mountain range with a finger smear, while another allows you to carve out a valley, changing the flow of water around the landscape. The strength of these tools can also be increased or decreased, allowing you to etch some finer detail into the planet. It all adds up to a very satisfying sandbox world that truly becomes your own.
A world without wildlife would be a pretty boring one, and so you can also populate it with a variety of animals, some predators, some prey. A delicate balancing act ensues where you have to carefully manage the numbers of one species to prevent the total annihilation of another. You do this not because there's a reward for doing so, and not because the game even acknowledges this (it doesn't), you just do it because it feels like the right thing to do.
We'd have liked to have seen a little more variety in that wildlife though, as there's only a very limited selection of creatures. Still, this is a game that's ripe for building upon and we can only hope that it's successful enough to warrant future updates that flesh the world out even further.
Topia World Builder is as fine a toy as any videogame out there, and is just as deep as your imagination is prepared to travel. If you need at least some direction in your gaming, you may be frustrated before you uncover its wonders, but for those who are prepared to dig a little deeper the game has plentiful treasure to be unearthed.
What's Hot: A very accessible sandbox game that's more than a little easy on the eye.
What's Not: More content to put in the sandbox would make for a very welcome update.
